Men’s Team
The St. Finbarr’s GFC men’s team is the most successful senior men’s G.A.A team in Perth. The men’s team have competed in Western Australian G.A.A competitions since the club was established in 1976.The most recent success coming in 2023, winning the WA Senior League and the WA Championship.
We compete in numerous other competitions outside of the league and championship each year, these include the Perth 7’s, Fr. Kelly Cup and since 2012 we have competed in the Padraig Pearses Melbourne 7s competition. In doing so we were the first club from W.A to participate in Padraig Pearses Melbourne 7s competition. Also, we are always well represented in the Australasian State games.
The expansion of the club’s teams reflects the growth of the Irish community in Perth and the increase in new club member’s joining year-on-year.
The men’s team train on Tuesdays & Thursdays in Henderson Oval, Jolimont at 7:20pm with games on Saturdays or Sundays in Tom Bateman Reserve, Canning Vale.
